Planning your celebration typically starts with setting your ceremony time and duration.
Your officiant will be able to help you determine a good estimate on time of speaking. Make sure to add in time for your family and bridal party procession down the isle, and any special things you might have planned during the ceremony.
When should it start? That depends! How do you want your ceremony light to look? Will it be indoor or outdoor? Do you want to take portraits immediately after?
Consider how the light may hit your ceremony spot during times throughout the day. If you want to take your post-ceremony family portraits at your alter, what will the light look like after your ceremony time? If taken outdoors, we like to start portraits about an hour before sunset that way we can get some good light through taking your (last-on-the-timeline) newlywed portraits with some dreamyyyy light!
